Two years thinking of it. One year making it. Lots of sleepless nights. And here it is. 

While others were getting ready to watch the Oscars, we screened "Before" for the kids and their families. That's us in back, holding our breaths.

DP Marty Martin preps for a long day in the studio.

We shoot over 50 hours of film during production. And go through probably 50 lbs of candy.

The opening and closing moments in the film took a full day to film. Here, the kids take a break between shots.
